Through the generosity of Barbara and Robert Daniell and the Daniell Family Foundation, the Gilford Community Church awards college scholarships each year to Gilford area students. The scholarship was established in 1996, and has helped hundreds of students attend the college of their choice, and become all that they can be.
The grants are made to undergraduate college or college-bound students who establish and maintain a required grade point average, and are graduates of Gilford High School and/or are active members of the Gilford Community Church. Once a student is awarded a grant for their freshman year, it is the intention of the Scholarship Ministry to award similar grants throughout their undergraduate years, assuming the required grade point averages are maintained.
