On Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 6 pm, the Gilford Community Church will transform their Fellowship Hall into a coffee-style concert venue and welcome the talented Peter Mayer.

Minnesota's Peter Mayer has been singing and songwriting full-time for over 20 years, performing in venues across the United States and beyond. He writes about life on earth, the mysterious and wondrous facts of our existence, and the vast cosmos that surround us. He also writes about pumpkins and dress hats, fake plants and pajamas, as well as love and freight trains, just like a proper folk musician should. His songs have been performed by Kathy Mattea, David Wilcox, Claudia Schmidt, Darryl Purpose, Billy Jonas, and Ronny Cox, to name a few. His work has been included in song books, church hymnals, and folk radio playlists across the country. Peter has eleven albums to his credit and has sold nearly 100,000 of them. He lives in Stillwater, Minnesota with his wife and two daughters.

Bring along your favorite drink/snack, sit back, relax and enjoy some fantastic music. “Peter is the most talented songwriter and guitarist I know. His music always moves me in deep and profound ways. I’m so looking forward to this show”, said Pastor Michael Graham.

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at the Gilford Community Church Office. Proceeds from this concert will benefit the “Church of Another Chance”.

Church of Another Chance works with men and women in the Belknap County jail providing individual and non-denominational spiritual counseling, classes, and worship services. CAC’s program is distinctive because it uses teams of mentors who work with members in a group setting. For more information, please visit their website directly at www.churchofanotherchancenh.org

Located in Gilford at 19 Potter Hill Road, the Gilford Community Church (GCC) is an inclusive, open community that welcomes believers and doubters, seekers and skeptics, young and old. To learn more about this event, visit gilfordcommunitychurch.org or petermayer.net.
