Every other month, starting in September (excluding the summer) the men from the church and the Lakes Region gather for fellowship and a program in the church fellowship hall. The hour of fellowship before the catered dinner is unstructured. There is a delicious catered dinner, and the programs include a wide variety of speakers and presentations, highlighting an area of interest in the Lakes Region. Past speakers have included the supervisor of UPS, the Trooper First Class pilot of the state police helicopter and fixed wing aircraft over NH highways, Senior vice-president of the Bank of New Hampshire, Head of State Marine Patrol presenting plans for the new Marine Patrol headquarters in Gilford, the candy-maker and co-owner of Kellerhaus spoke on making candy (with samples!), and of course, the annual Family Car Cruise Night in May, which is held in the church parking lot, featuring a fantastic pulled pork BBQ and over a hundred antique and classic vehicles for viewing.
The charge is $12.00 per person and all men in the church and surrounding towns are invited and welcome. Reservations need to be made by calling the church office, 603-524-6057, so that enough food can be planned on for everyone. A great time of fellowship, a delicious meal and an informational and inspiring program all come together to provide a rich experience for all involved.
